Day 33 – Talent, Trust and Teamwork
As we continued to build SWAIN, the conversations shifted from product to people. Day 33 was one of those moments that reminded us how much the right team shapes the trajectory of a product — not just through skills, but through energy, support and clarity of thought.
It started with a note of appreciation. We highlighted the brilliant people we’ve been lucky enough to work with and learn from. These are not just collaborators. They’re part of the foundation that SWAIN stands on. When things are moving fast, it is easy to miss those contributions. This was a conscious pause to recognise them.
Later that day, a walk-and-talk with Russell became a deeper session than planned. What began as a casual meetup turned into a full working reflection on the past month. We talked about what’s gone well, what surprised us, and what still needs to change. One of the biggest takeaways was that trust speeds things up. When you’re working with people who get it, decisions become obvious. Direction becomes shared. You move as one.
SWAIN isn’t just a tool that automates work. It’s a product built in the open, by people who trust each other to keep asking difficult questions, stay focused, and move forward without ego. Day 33 reminded us that this isn’t a solo project. It’s a shared mission.
Key takeaway
The strength of the product depends on the strength of the team behind it. Progress accelerates when trust is already in place.
